After 3 months of development, we’re happy to report that our next game “Letter Peek” has been submitted to the App Store for approval. My daughter is two now and she’s started learning the alphabet. Naturally we needed to develop an app to help her learn and interact with the letters.
Letter Peek displays each of the letters in upper and lower case. Tapping on the letter curls up the page to reveal something starting with that letter. So, tap the A and you’ll see an Apple for a few seconds, then it’ll curl back down. We’ve also recorded males and female voices to go along with the reveal, saying the letter and the reveal.
This is a great game not only for teaching your child the letters, but the names of the things revealed. My daughter knows 90% of the objects now by name and repeats along with the voice. She can now ask for an apple, point out a house. It’s been a great tool for us.
Here’s a quick preview of the app in action. Full length video will come in the next few weeks. I hope Letter Peek will be available for sale by the first week of September.
